Powered by The CloudOps Collective
A provider neutral community of practice for the people who run cloud operations for a living. Practitioners compare notes on what works, what breaks and what it costs across Azure, AWS, Google Cloud and Kubernetes, with no vendor agenda in the room.
Why an assurance company backs a community that does not sell assurance
Cloud operations is a field where almost every source of information has something to sell you. Vendor blogs are marketing, analyst reports are paid for, and conference talks are sponsored. That is simply how the industry funds itself, but it leaves practitioners short of a straight answer from somebody with no position to defend.
The Collective exists to be that. It covers Azure, AWS, Google Cloud and Kubernetes without preferring any of them, because somebody working out whether a migration is worth doing does not need another opinion from a party who wins either way.
We back it and stay out of the editorial.
We learn what is actually breaking
Practitioners talking honestly to each other is the best available information about what goes wrong in real estates. It shapes what our assessments look for more than a roadmap session ever would.
The industry needs one neutral room
Every provider funds its own channel and its own certification track. Very few fund the space in between, and that space is where the useful conversations happen.
